Ana Filich, a junior in high school, is one of our younger 99s. After attending the GirlVenture camp at Oshkosh, she was awarded a $500 scholarship from the Heather McRoberts Memorial Scholarship. She was also given the honor of having her current Ray Aviation Scholarship underwritten by the Kylie Murray Memorial Foundation. It is a huge honor to train in Kylie's memory and continue her legacy. Ana states that without scholarships like these she would not be able to advance in her aviation training. She so incredibly grateful. Her goal is to get her PPL and possibly her Instrument Rating at a part 141 flight school in Columbia before going go to college in 2027 to obtain an aviation degree. Her #1 school pick is currently Texas Woman's University who have just started an aviation program last year. Congratulations Ana Filich - now you have SOLO week of August 18, 2025. You are meeting your goal step by step. We are behind you.
